Our fun and educational Desert Hot Springs Project (Home Free Affordably) is well under way and a brand new Sustainable Lifestyle Playground and Demonstration Site Project is kicking off in 2010 nearby in that city too. Visit the Planned Giving page for more information.   Gifts of Cash Cash and cash equivalents are the gift of choice for most donors, either as an annual gift or pledged over a period of several years. A cash gift entitles the donor to a charitable deduction of up to 50 percent of adjusted gross income. If all deductible gifts in that year exceed the 50 percent limit, the excess amount may be carried over as a deduction for up to five years. Gifts of outright cash are the most valuable form of support for HGFN. Because they are immediately available (and often unrestricted), they allow HGFN the flexibility to meet its most pressing needs. Checks: To be sure that your gift is properly credited, follow these guidelines. Checks should be mailed along with a letter outlining the purpose of the gift to: Home - Grown Food Network Inc. Credit card gifts can be made using our new secure Pay Direct system.You may go directly to our secure online gift form to use your credit card to make a gift now by clicking on the donate button Bank wire transfers: While most donors send personal checks, HGFN also accepts cash gifts through a bank wire transfer. Gifts may be wired directly from your bank to HGFN’s bank. Please advise us as it is critical when making a wire transfer that you alert HGFN in advance so that the gift will be properly credited when received at HGFN’s bank.
