HOME FREE (Affordably) PROJECTS- MATERIAL NEEDS

Material Giving

Many companies have inventory with scratches and dents, outdated, discontinued, in broken packages.  All of these are harder to sell and typically can never be sold at full retail.  If it is something that we can use, Home-Grown Food Network can give tax receipts for the full retail value of the product

Rather than maintaining such inventory, many companies would rather make room for product they can sell at full retail while capturing a tax credit that may be equal or better than what they may be able to receive from selling the product?  This may be a way to make your cash donation go a lot farther for Home-Grown Food Network, by purchasing these types of materials and equipment at pennies on the dollar then donating them to the project.  Remember, if we can use the materials, we can give you a tax receipt letter for the full retail value of the materials donated.  If we can't use the material we must give you a receipt for your cost in the material.

Our objective is to be the best stewards we can be with all donations that we receive.  As a company or an individual, you may have an interest to donate materials at a reduced rate, below cost, or at your cost.  This is where we would prefer to use financial gifts that have been donated to Home-Grown Food Network.  This allows the cash donations to have much more buying power for the project.

We would like to hear from you if you have equipment or materials that you would like to donate to Home-Grown Food Network. Please contact our Executive Director at (760) 808-4645 or email us
